On 9th - 11th October 2009, Westminster Stone exhibited at the Grand Designs Show at the NEC, Birmingham. Over 45,000 visitors packed the halls during the 3 days, and the stand was a real show stopper. The garden display satnd was designed by Leighton Powell and Sue Hetherington, and constructed by The Ability Garden Company who have built displays at national exhibitions for over ten years with us. The display had three themes; as mall Mediterranean Corner, showing our Random Old Provence Tiles. the tiles were also featured as coping stones, and as tile skirtings. The larger area, showed an old potting shed, complete with a woodburning stove, and dressed with old boots, tools and bric-a-brac! Our new Old Farmhouse Flagstones were featured within the potting shed, waxed and sealed to simulate an old traditional flagstone floor. Old Welsgh Quarry Tiles were also featured.

The third area of the stand was more commercial, showing many of the decorative aggregates that Westminster Stone offer for nationwide delivery. A range of natural stone was also on display; Indian Sabndstone (both Vintage and newly quarried), Slate, Travertine and Granite, all for use indoors or out, and Limestone block paving setts for driveways.
