Why buy from Westminster Stone?
We are a family business, and understand the importance of getting your project right. We are specialists in paving and flooring, and have been supplying the trade and public with quality products since 1985. We also manufacture our own unique moulds, and sell our products throughout the world.

 

How long will my delivery take to arrive?
Delivery will usually be made within 7 days. We will always phone you discuss your delivery requirements before attempting to deliver.

 

Can you advise on patterns and layouts
Yes. We are here to help. Every project pack is supplied with a laying pattern;  in the unlikely event that it’s missing, just phone us, and we will email you a copy by return. There are also layout patterns and laying advice in the brochure downloads on the home page. All of the project packs can be easily laid by a professional or competent DIYer

 

What happens if there are breakages on my delivery?
Where possible, check the delivery before you sign the delivery note. If you are unable to, then please report any breakages or damage as soon as possible; preferably in writing.  Whenever possible take a digital picture to help us establish what caused the problem. We will replace any  sub standard products as quickly as possible.

 

Are breakages or quality problems common?
No. Very rare. Our natural stone products are sourced mainly from leading UK distributors, with a strong reputation to protect. Westminster Stone has a reputation for manufacturing authentic quality paving, flooring and accessories in unique moulds. Their products are in demand all over the UK, and are exported as far afield as Europe, Japan and the USA.

 

Is there an extra charge for delivery?
Not usually. Delivery to most areas of the UK are either included in the price, or subsidised. Check on the map to confirm.

 

Do I need to stay home to wait for delivery?
Yes. Or you can appoint someone to sign for the delivery on your behalf (a neighbour for instance.) A timed delivery service is offered at a nominal extra charge, where you can specify AM or PM delivery, or delivery before 10am.

 

What if I order too little?
No problem. We can supply you with extra products. Please note however if your requirements are less than a full pack we will have to charge you a nominal delivery charge. Usually £25 – 50 depnding on location.

 

How much extra should I order to allow for cuts or wastage?
We recommend that you always allow 5% extra paving for cutting, and the occasional breakage that you may suffer when laying. For interior flooring, or in small confined areas, you may need to do more cutting, so allow up to 10%. If you are unsure of how much product you need, or need some guidance, please feel free to ring the office on the lo call number at the top of the home page.

 

What If I order too much?
We are unable to take back packs, but we will always guide you if you are unsure of how much product you need, please ring the office.

 

What If I don’t need a whole project pack of something?
Westminster Stone are able to deliver any quantity of any product, it’s just that you can only order full project packs through this ecommerce site. Phone the number at the top of the home page for a quote.  Telephone orders are dispatched in the same way as ecommerce orders, and can often be dispatched with ecommerce orders. All major debit and credit cards are accepted over the phone.

 

How colourfast are the paving products?
The natural stone products that we offer are several million years old, and are therefore colourfast! The manufactured product is manufactured by the market leaders in reproduction paving using only the best pigmentation and raw materials, and therefore the paving actually improves with age rather than fading.

 

What happens if I discover after ordering that the product is out of stock?
We will ring to inform you. Either you can immediately have a full refund or we can put you on a waiting list with an estimated time of availability.
